In response to the critical rise in COVID-19 cases driven by the Delta variant and others, EBIN NEW YORK, a leading beauty brand, has announced a significant contribution to the battle against the pandemic. The company pledges to donate one million dollars worth of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to nonprofit and community-based organizations throughout the Greater New York area. This donation drive is set to span over the next 90 days, reflecting EBIN NEW YORK's commitment to supporting the community during these challenging times.
As schools reopen and new mask mandates come into effect, EBIN NEW YORK is dedicating a substantial amount of resources, including:
- 100,000 bottles of hand sanitizer
- 100,000 KN95 masks
- 8,000 face shields
- 300,000 disposable blue masks
The initiative kicks off on Friday, September 10, 2021, in collaboration with notable local organizations such as the Korean American Association of Greater New York and 100 Suits, based in Southeast Queens. These groups are joining forces with several community leaders and organizations, including Congressman Gregory Meeks and Senators Leroy Comrie and James Sanders, to ensure the PPE reaches those who need it most.
Kevin Livingston, Founder of 100 Suits, expressed his gratitude: "On behalf of 100 Suits and the entire Southeast Queens community, we are immensely thankful to EBIN NEW YORK for their generous donation of PPE. This equipment is vital for our efforts to educate and uplift our community through these tough times. We deeply appreciate this support and the strong partnership we have built."
The President of EBIN NEW YORK shared, "We are deeply committed to supporting nonprofit and community-based organizations in the Greater New York area. The pandemic has touched all of our lives, and as a company, we realized the most impactful action we could take was to donate essential supplies, especially to those organizations that needed them most."
Through this donation, EBIN NEW YORK stands firm in its mission not just to beautify but to protect and support communities during the ongoing pandemic.
